Role of department in Municipality
- Appointments on vacant posts of class1 to 4 on the municipal establishment by direct recruitment and promotion.
- Transfers of officers and employees according to their seniority in the department.
- Conduct departmental enquiry and impose punishment on guilty officers / employee.
- Prepare recruitment rules for all cadres of municipal establishment.
- Update the information of officers / employees in software and preserve their confidential reports, prepare and publish seniority lists for all cadres.
- To establish separate cell for backward class for reservation in direct recruitment and promotion and for complaints etc.
- Recruitment of the heirs class 4 (Safai Cadre) employees as per the Laad committee’s recommendation and recruitment of the heirs of the deceased on duty dead employees, of class 3 and class 4.
- Examine the day to day activities and irregularities by the Administrative inspection squad.
- Provide essential staff of class 1 to class 4 as per department requirement and creation of posts as per requirement.
- Provide house loan, vehicle loan, computer loan to officers and employees working on the municipal establishment.
- Selection and appointment of officers and employees for the various training programmes , appointment of apprentice and capacity building officers and employees.
- Administrative work related to establishment of all the officers and employees.
