Description :

Labour Welfare Department has been an independent department since 1999. As per the administrative work and control this department is working under Hon’ble Addl. Commissioner.

Following is the list of  work carried out by this department

 

 

1. Under 10 Point Programe – Capacity Building –Training on various subject is being organized by this Department for Officer’s and Employee’s.

2. Enforcement of provisions of Labour laws in PCMC and guide other departments regarding provisions of the Labour laws.

 

3. To look after Labour law cases with Hon. High Court, Industrial and Labour Court etc.

 

4. To Provide required tools to disabled employee’s in order to help them to carry out their assigned duties.

 

5. To arrange meetings with Pimpri chinchwad Municipal Employee’s Union and Hon. Commissioner to resolve their issues.

 

6. To arrange various cultural programs for PCMC employee’s.

7. To arrange various welfare programs to PCMC Employee’s.
